Engineer by training, program manager by practice
I'm a Senior Technical Program Manager at SiFive, where I lead RISC-V processor IP programs from architecture through release. Before that I spent nearly nine years at Intel in the FPGA business, and earlier worked on vehicle electrical systems at Tesla and Ford.
My path started in quality and manufacturing. I trained as an industrial engineer, spent years developing suppliers and certifying processes, and helped rebuild and certify a quality management system to ISO 9001:2015. That background shapes how I run programs today: clear ownership, evidence over opinion, and systems that make delivery predictable instead of heroic.
I'm especially interested in how AI changes the way engineering teams plan, track and deliver, and in bringing management-system discipline to AI itself.
The personal side
I was born in Mexico and live in Northern California. I work in English and Spanish. Outside work I compose music, play guitar and bass, and tinker with audio engineering.
